CORDET is pleased to announce that the Swedish Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (SVCA) has appointed Björn Börjesson, CORDET Chief Credit Officer, to its Supervisory Board.

The Supervisory Board has been established in conjunction with the SVCA’s launch of its Private Equity Code of Conduct (the “Code”).  The Code seeks to bolster public confidence in private equity and highlights the need for general partners and managers to maintain transparency as to their social responsibilities.  The mandate of the Supervisory Board is to administer the Code and the application of its principles and to assess, and take appropriate action in, cases of non-compliance.

Björn Börjesson is also Vice Chairman of the Third Swedish National Pension Fund.
