CORDET is pleased to announce that Kevin Adeson will become a Senior Adviser and a Non-Executive Director, and a member of CORDET’s Investment & Credit Committee.
Kevin is Vice Chairman of Global Banking and Markets at HSBC, a position he has held since August 2013. In this role, he works closely with HSBC’s priority client relationships, and focuses on developing key growth initiatives through collaboration across business lines. He has also been a Group General Manager since January 2012.
Kevin began his career with HSBC in 2006 as Global Head of Leveraged and Acquisition Finance, became Head of Global Capital Financing and in April 2008 took on the role of Global Head of Principal Investments. In January 2011 he became Co-Head of Global Banking and oversaw HSBC’s vast Global Banking business, which has a presence in over 50 countries and territories.
Prior to joining HSBC, Kevin was Head of Leveraged and Acquisition Finance Europe at Morgan Stanley and a member of Morgan Stanley’s Global Capital Underwriting Committee. He joined Morgan Stanley in 1997 from Bankers Trust, where he spent 10 years in leveraged finance and equity arbitrage.
