CORDET is pleased to announce that the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA) has appointed Jakob Lindquist, CORDET Co-Managing Partner, to its Alternative Lending Working Group as the first Private Debt Firm representing the lower mid-market.

The BVCA Alternative Lending Working Group comprises of senior professionals from firms with a range of alternative lending strategies that are aligned with the private equity and venture capital industry’s emphasis on business growth. The BVCA Alternative Working Group members include Apollo, Ardian, Ares, CORDET, ICG, Investcorp and Mercer.

These strategies include the provision of mezzanine finance, direct lending, unitranche finance, collateralized loan obligations and venture debt. The members work with the BVCA to raise awareness of alternative lending among a wide range of stakeholders by engaging with the BVCA’s technical, policy, research, events, training and communications departments.
