CORDET is pleased to announce that Chris Birt will join CORDET as an Investment Professional in September. Chris will focus on UK origination and will be based in the London office.

Chris was previously at Lloyds for fourteen years, most recently as a Director in Mid Market Origination, Acquisition Finance, responsible for originating, structuring, and executing mid- market senior debt transactions. In his time in Acquisition Finance, Chris completed over 50 senior debt transactions in the Mid Market including Alpha FMC, Outcomes First Group and Imagesound in 2016.

Prior to Lloyds, Chris was a civil engineer with Costain Ltd.

Chris holds a Masters in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from the University of Leeds.
